Boise St FB program under criminal investigation?

For the assault & battery they put on Pac-12 Arizona State last night.

How the hell does this matchup even happen?

Boise had no business playing in that game last night & they proved it. Problem is, they've proved it now for a few years including this season & they continue to get the shaft from the BCS & bowl system. Georgia is playing in a nice cushy New Year''s Day bowl this year, which without looking at payouts I'm sure pays more than last night's game in Vegas, yet Boise manhandled the Bulldogs in the Georgia Dome no less earleir this season. Lose on game on a last second kick & Boise gets shipped to Vegas. Meanwhile, Alabama loses by a FG on their homefield as well & they're playing for the BCS Championship? I'm not advocating Boise should be in that game but you see my point what a ridicuously slippery slope an established but yet non-BCS AQ team like BSU has....

They'll never let Boise in - so they had to kick down the door - and take advantage of the Big East's "last call" mentality

I very makeable 39 yarder is what I remember too. It wasn't like it was a 50+ yard desperation kick.

It sure looks like BSU would have struggled in the Pac-12 or SEC :suspicious: :poke:

Funny the minute that happens, the BCS starts looking at doing away with AQ conferences. :jack:

Michigan and Virginia Tech shouldn't have gotten a BCS bowl bid...should've swapped both of those teams with Boise and Michigan State. I can't believe I'm taking up for Boise...

They wouldn't have. BCS elitists will tell you so, but the onfield results from the last few years beg to differ.

Still the right move for Boise though. They will benifit from the Big East bowl tie ins and better TV deal. I also think Boise can back out before June of 2013 with no financial penalty, so if a better deal comes along Boise can take it.

I agree, it’s why SDSU moved to the Big East at the expense of their hoops squad that now joins the laughable Big West. In realignment, money is king.
