Here is the latest inductee:
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Former Virginia Tech quarterback Maurice DeShazo is among hundreds of men arrested in a nationwide sting on prostitution and other sex crime charges.
DeShazo is charged with soliciting prostitution. Media outlets report DeShazo was arrested along with 14 other men in Newport News.
They were part of the "National Day of Johns Arrests." Law enforcement agencies in eight states conducted stings in hotels, on the streets, in brothels and online over a 10-day period that ended Monday night.
DeShazo was Virginia Tech's quarterback on the 1993 Independence Bowl and 1994 Gator Bowl teams. He was inducted into the Virginia Tech Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009.

Um, do you really want to go there? I'm sure the 1-A cast-offs from the 757 populating ODU sports have all been choirboys...

It's BCS, so it's OK. Now if you made some inference to JMU and it's proximity to Blacksburg, that's another story.....

Can't fault a guy for that - prostitution should be legal anyways.

We have had a couple of incidents with student-athletes, and they were dealt with appropriately (the worst case resulted in the dismissal of a basketball player for slapping his girlfriend and that severly hurt the program). But I can't think of anything bad happening after their college careers. There has to be something, but I just can't think of any right now.
Tech's Hall of Shame is on a much different level. It is competing for a national championship.

Of course we can state the obligatory, "He should be smarter than to break the law." But prostitution should be legal. Excuse me if I don't think being charged with soliciting prostitution diid someThing horrible.

The thread is for the VT Hall of "Shame". This incident is evidence that he couldn't get it for free.
