BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) A jury dominated by people with Penn State loyalties was selected Wednesday to decide Jerry Sandusky's fate in the child sexual abuse scandal that rocked the university and led to football coach Joe Paterno's downfall.
The seven women and five men who will hear opening statements on Monday include an engineering administrative assistant at Penn State, a dance teacher in the continuing education program and a professor who has been on the faculty for 24 years.

Does he need to be found GUILTY on every count for Penn State to ever hope to recover?
Or
Say he is found NOT GUILTY on all counts, will it ruin Penn State?

Not really how the criminal justice system works, but I agree that "Musty Sandusky" is as guilty as sin.

It's a big deal, but Penn State as an institution likely won't suffer any long-term effects from it especially with JoPa's passing. Sandusky will be convicted on at least a few of the counts and will spend the rest of his days in prison. I don't think you need him guilty on all counts for Penn State to begin putting this behind them since most of those who were complicit in this whole thing are either deceased, dismissed, or soon to be in jail.

Why shouldn't he be found guilty on all counts that is like saying he is only half guilty of all the children who's lives he ruined all those kids deserved justice for what that animal did to them.

How do you know that every one of his accusers is telling the truth?

I'm not a lawyer, but I think the defense lawyer for Sandusky did a terrible job:
- Consistently accused witnesses/victims of lying for financial gain
- Consistently denied Sandusky did it & brought up witnesses like his wife to "back that up"
- Then, in the worst mistake, brings up "expert testimony" to explain condition that Sandusky may have that would explain him buttripping kids??
If he didn't do it then why do they need the outside expert testimony to explain his actions?
Unless there's someone who made a lot of money betting on PSU back in the day & wants to thank Sandusky for it I don't see how he gets off. Believe me, they could have however many hung juries in a row - they'd never stop going after this scum.

He has to be CONVICTED on all counts and some of them may or may not be without merit. That's why they have a trial. My point was that even if ALL the charges don't stick he'll spend the rest of his life in jail most likely. Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way defending what he did, but I'll leave it to a jury to determine just how guilty he is and how many of the counts actually stick.

Aren't they supposed to pick a jury that's unbiased? How is a " jury dominated by people with Penn State loyalties" unbiased?
