If I were coaching either team I would have onside kicked after every TD in the second half. Baylor gets a TD with just over 3 minutes left to make it 70-63 WVU, and kicks it deep. :dunce: Not surprisingly, they never got the ball back.

Amazing performance. More TD's than incompletes. Almost threw an incomplete pass with 2 minutes left, but the receiver was able to change direction and make a great 1 handed catch.

Really? I very much doubt that. Florida had Percy Harvin and Chris Rainey once upon a time. I'm sure we could go back and find some more teams like that. Maybe an old Bobby Bowden FSU team- maybe the Peter Warrick years?

We could go all the way back to the 90s with Ohio St with Terry Glenn,Joey Galloway both were sub 4.3 in their prime.

Man, how great would it be if WVU and Oregon both win out, and Alabama picks up a loss or two? Can't think of a better way to say goodbye to the abortion known as the BCS.

That game would be in-fucking-sane.

I would watch it without changing the channel - even for the commercials.

It would be in Jan - those would be gone.....Also, I live in Iowa....a week without political ads (no matter the time of year or year) is strange.

Joey Galloway sub 4.3?? What are you smoking and do you have any extra?

I agree with another poster - Oregon-WVU would be the show of all shows, that's what I'm rooting for!!

Yes I'am smoking something its called HISTORY Galloway was a legit 4.17 40 man coming out of Ohio St.Terry Glenn was a 4.27 man himself and they had a teammate Chris Sanders a 4.32 man as well!!!Unfortunately a Oregon-WVU matchup will not take place a seeing as how a certain unbeaten team in the SEC will play the role of spoiler in the city of Tuscaloosa!!!!

2 great offenses/mediocre defenses does no more for me than 2 great defenses and mediocre offenses. Actually, I'd take the latter over seeing a damn basketball/arena score.

We had a chance to see that last year - twice - with LSU/Alabama. Two of the most boring games in the history of the sport.

No kidding. Unfuckingwatchable.

Also, WVU's defense may suck donkey balls, but Oregon's has been very strong this year. I'm guessing it's been a while since Rich Rod-coached team has been shut out.

People who appreciate watching great defense, as you'all obviously don't, don't think so. Plus, Clenz is just mad because Bama kicked the s*it out of an over rated Michigan team.

For the instant gratification, no attention span, me generation that would rather watching a team with 50 f'ing uniform combos as opposed to plain old school, who would rather watch a game played on fake instead of real grass & mud, who have no appreciation of great defense and would rather see a 70-63 no defense game, then yeah, Oregon-WVU would be for you.

In your opinion. People who appreciate watching great defense don't think so.
I'd be interested to see what the ratings were for those games vs the Oregon-Auburn game.

Edit-bored at worked, so I tracked them down: 27.3 million for Oregon-Auburn, 13.8 million for LSU-Alabama.

Get over yourself. I appreciate good offense and good defense, but the object of the game is to score points. Watching a back get stuffed up the middle, over and over again, just isn't entertaining, period. And again, Oregon is playing great defense this year. Not my fault you haven't bothered staying up to watch them. :coffee:

Oregon/WVU has close to zero chance of happening.

Looking at the WVU schedule, they have a very tough schedule remaining, and they are going to lose 1 game, maybe 2, because of their defense.

Oregon might run the table, but they have a very tough schedule remaining. Their defense might be good, but are giving up 20 points a game.

There is going to be an SEC team in the NC game, probably Bama. Have a very good offense and a great defense. Avg 40 points a game and only giving up 7.
