Way to go Louisville

Kind of didn't care who won when I started watching. I guess maybe pulling for the underdog a little. But as the game went on I started pulling for them more and more. What a bunch of jerks Florida's players are. Meanwhile Louisville's players conducted themselves well, with class, the whole time. Just let their play do the talking.

Like Florida's down 30-10 and they're lucky to be that close and their defensive players are jawing and mouthing off and making weird hand gestures and such. Good GRIEF I was glad to see them get beat. Only thing is I wish Louisville wouldn't have blown three scoring opportunities so it would've been worse.

Really. The way Florida's players conducted themselves in that game...or at least some of them...was an embarrassment to the school.

The Big East actually was better than people gave them credit for this year.

Teddy Bridgewater showed the nation last night he could be a 1st round draft pick when he becomes draft eligible. Strong did a great job coaching his team last night. I haven't been impressed with Driskel all year.

Did anyone else see the television crew leaving the stadium with those large "SEC" signs when they were interviewing people on the field? These:

Apparently ESPN brings them.

I thought Florida might lay an egg in this one. Much as I hate to admit it, UGA got hosed and would have beaten the slop out of Louiville. Florida should not have been in a BCS bowl game.

Overall though the SEC has done very well in their bowl games and will almost certainly make it 7 years in a row in the championship game.

3-3 isn't "very well" in my book... at least not for the conference that claims superiority over all others. As for UGA, they were lucky to escape Nebraska. That was a tight game until UGA got away with a horrible non-call on offense pass interference to put the game away.

My father in law and I watched the game and we were both surprised at a lot of the nastiness the refs were allowing from Florida- especially the helmet to helmet stuff. They called FL on it with the early roughing the passer call, but they let a LOT of stuff go.

I'm glad they got their tails kicked.
