Will Syracuse add a baseball program?
SU is the only ACC entry without a team

Eight Atlantic Coast Conference baseball teams participated in the College World Series regionals this season. Four advanced to the super regionals, where North Carolina lost to UCLA in its quest to reach the championship series.

The ACC's success in baseball underscores one important element as Syracuse prepares to make its debut in its new college athletics home: In a league that enjoys overwhelming annual success in baseball, Syracuse will become the only ACC program that does not field the sport.

Notre Dame and Pittsburgh play baseball. Louisville, which officially joins the ACC next season, won the Big East baseball regular season title and advanced to the CWS super regionals.

And just to clarify ... Not a single Syracuse Chief chooses to play baseball in Syracuse. Every single Syrancuse Orangeman would have to. That's what I mean when I say an uphill battle.
