Looks like the SEC is still the best. Really, only a true championship will decide the best teams.

12 is a couple spots too high for the Noles, but it should be a fun season

Having both Clempsun and the Cocks ranked this high means it will be an annoying football season locally.

That is every season. This is the highest the Gamecocks have been ranked, going into a season.

I'm sure you are aware of the term "Clemson-ing", I'm sure it'll happen this year.

I have family in Columbus. And my girlfriend is from Ohio as well. I've seen more OSU games than a lot of FBS fans have seen their teams play.

What was their best win last year? I don't think they beat anyone in the top 15.
They don't play a top-15 team in the preseason polls at all this year.
Ohio State may very well make it to the championship game, but they'll be curb-stomped like 2006 and 2007.

Big 10 is the annual butt of FBS football.

Which bowl did they play in, again?
NDSU won the Grantland Rice Bowl 14-7 over Wofford.
Last year's other FCS bowl games:
Boardwalk Bowl: GA Southern 49, Old Dominion 35
Pecan Bowl: Sam Houston State 34, Montana State 16
Camellia Bowl: Eastern Washington 51, Illinois State 35
Before you guys whine, no these bowls are NOT official. But they are tracked nonetheless.

Why are you bringing up FCS in a FBS discussion? WHY?

Especially since I asked Willie which bowl OSU played in. Nothing to do with NDSU.

SH has a huge problem with FBS schools. I don't understand it.

This the SEC version of Ohio State, not the Big 10 version like 2006 & 2007. This might not be their year, but it's not far away.
