Agreed. It is an ancient sport and many cultures have some variation of it. Unimaginable that wrestling could be dropped.

I agree it shocked me when I heard that it was being dropped by the IOC.

They made the right decision.

SH will only be happy if this is Greco-Roman.

I think there is a chance that Greco-Roman may eventually be dropped. Right now only men compete at Greco, whereas both men and women compete at freestyle. The number of wrestlers competing in freestyle are much higher than in Greco, at least they are here in PA.
