Lane Kiffin is kind of a douche, but if this stuff is true then that's still really low class by USC's athletic director.

Hope USC is foolish enough to hire from the NFL instead of going with someone like Chris Petersen or Bobby Petrino.

But a source close to the program disputed those version of events to ESPN's Shelley Smith, saying Kiffin was not "pulled off" the bus because he has always been personally driven home after away trips to his relatively close home in Manhattan Beach.

of course, in these types of situations, you never really know what is truth, what is "spin" by the school's athletic dept., and what is complete gossip/bs made up by people who don't have any first-hand knowledge of the situation.

It was only a matter of time. USC now has more time to look for a new HC who won't have to deal with the sanctions Kiffin had to deal with.

I know an assistant at UCLA who would make a GREAT HC at U$C...OR Sac State, for that matter.
