Stanford certainly deserved to win that one, but despite their dominance in the trenches, there were a couple of plays early on that killed whatever momentum Oregon had and effectively took them out of the game. The underthrown pass to a wide open Huff that would have been good for six, and the fumble by Oregon's RB (Thomas, I think) inside the 5. After those Stanford just played keep away and kept Oregon's offense out of it.

We're talking about this season, Poindexter. And yeah, I'm sure it's real tough to earn a playoff bid in the MEAC.
