You know, I have had many discussions saying that Heinicke may be the best statistical QB we ever have, and he is only our second QB.
However, we have a verbal from a kid named Shuler Bentley from South Carolina that runs our offense for his HS team. He threw 6 TD's in a game televised on ESPN back in August. He was at our game vs. Rhody two weeks ago. Cincy tried to get him after his verbal to us but he said , but that may be more of a geographical decision. If the SEC or ACC come calling and promise him the moon, we could be in trouble. He was the SC Gatorade player of the year as a junior but is only listed at 6'0". He had 50 TD passes through the first 9 games this season.
