From reading all the articles, it sounds like Jones was effectively fired. I have no idea why SMU would do that.

Sounds like butthurt from Dickerson. Man up and deal with the fact that your alma mater sucks balls. Plenty of other people do.

He's right...time to stop blaming the death penalty on everything and either commit yourself to football or put those resources into basketball.
