Why wait until the end of the season, just fire the guy now!

They have waited a bit too long to fire him... :0

Been hearing rumors about Harbaugh coming home, but it's hard to imagine a successful NFL coach dropping down...

Money talks.

I honestly think the only way Harbaugh stays in Frisco is if we win the Superb Owl.
Pretty sure, especially with the supposed "rift" growing between him and the team, that's the only way they'd pony up enough money to keep him.

If Texas couldn't get Harbaugh with their endless money, why would Michigan get him?

Because he played QB there?

I just don't see him as a long term guy in the NFL with one team. He's like the old school, hard knock hockey coach who can get a team going for a few years, but eventually the schtick grows old and he's no longer effective. Maybe college would work for him long term.

Saw an article about Hoke keeping his QB in the game after he took a shot (possible concussion speculated) and the flak he got for it. Given what he did at Ball State and that he turned around a morbid SDSU program, I thought he would have success at Michigan.

Turning around a couple mid-majors and placating a rabid big time FBS fanbase with delusions of grandeur are way different things.
It's "MICHIGAN", the greatest FBS program that ever existed, bequeathed on this earth by the college football gods themselves.
And Hoke is a "Michigan Man", one of the chosen people of those same football gods to lead their holy program to infinite victories.
No pressure whatsoever.

Michigan is starting to see de-commits from their 2015 class. There is a rally on campus in about 2 hours to fire the AD. Michigan is supposedly already reaching out to UConn's & BC's AD's, both of which are Michigan alums.
Not fun times for the maize & blue.

For the last several years, the "smart money" has been on Jim Harbaugh for the Michigan job. I saw a report today that they might skip him and go after his brother.
How credible is that? Would John leave Baltimore?

I think Mark Farley would do a great job for them. I'll even donate to Michigan if they hire him.
