Re: Mizzou @ Florida - Most Bizarre Box Score Ever?
Wow. Save for special teams, two-and-a-half quarters of stellar defense, and a garbage time defensive collapse, Mizzou would have won by only 13-0. And even granting Florida their points, save for special teams, it would have been an overtime game. The Mizzou offense was for crap, apparently.
VA Tech has been preaching it for years, but people have ignored it: Special Teams really IS one-third of the game. Those who fail to prepare like that are doomed to lose a big game at some point. Florida found that out the hard way....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
