Only 8 days until it starts...

Some schools, like Hofstra, have already had wrestle offs.

Nobody forced you to open or respond to this thread. Maybe the mods could supply a list of topics that people care about so that we can avoid unpopular threads. :suspicious:

Yes they do. Wrestling is very popular here in PA. Most high schools have teams as do many colleges. There are 11 D1 college wrestling teams in PA and 33 overall if you count D2 and D3. Several of my sons high school matches were televised on local TV.

It's fine of you don't care about it, the sport is not for everyone; but the  emoticon is out of line. You are just showing your ignorance.

I don't even want to begin to try to count the number of college programs here in Iowa.

I don't think UNI will run the regular season undefeated like they did last season (13-0) but I don't follow as intensely as others. I know there is a lot of hype with the program again this season, but lost some good seniors.

I expect UNI to qualify 6-8 for nationals though based on what I'm reading.

My understanding is that the NCAA has changed the formula for crowning a champion and that the dual meet tourney will be part of the total score. It will be harder to go undefeated in dual meets since schools will now have compete and do well, Penn St won the title last year and did not compete in the dual meet tourney.

I know that UNI has some nice recruits coming in, they should do well.

2015 NCAA championships are in St. Louis. I will be there for some of it because, you know, it's St. Louis. :ohno:
