It is - when I lived in Nashville I would go down there twice a year to go birding along the coast and in spots around Mobile. Dauphin Island is nice - like it better than Gulf Shores.

After the numbness of the ass raping is starting to wear off, there is excitement brewing. We've sold the 4,000 required tickets, but playing on a Wednesday two days before Christmas will put a damper on attendance.
Our coach is interviewing for the Tulane job today, so we might be without a coach as well.

Still good sales. I wondered how much the debacle against GaSt would damper enthusiasm.

It's a good thing that the Athletic Foundation members had to have their orders in before the GAg State debacle. Otherwise, it would be a much harder sell.

I haven't heard that. Awesome if its true. Weather reports are saying 5+ inches of rain in Mobile today. I hope the stands are half full tonight. It's gonna be a sloppy game tonight.

I'm gonna be like you. Sitting on the couch watching on the Mothership. We couldn't make it to Mobile. Too close to Christmas and work schedules wouldn't allow it. As luck would have it, this was the only Bowl game we knew we couldn't make, and it's the one we get chosen to play.

I think GSU needs to be called GaSouth

thats the penalty for losing to GSU - you cant be called GSU unless you win that game

think of it as the annual GSU Trophy

Don't wanna be called GSU, but it makes it easier on this forum.
As punishment to losing to Shit Stain State, we should have to call ourselves XSU for the next year. :ohno:

Anyone want to give me some reasons for taking the 7.5 in my bowl pool?

I may be wrong. But I was checking scores from last night and the site had numbers of tickets available for the game. Yours said check Stub Hub. I did for kicks and none were for sale. Come to think of it, that could mean that a shit load is available at the venue. It was early. Good luck in any event.

Though Bowling Green is more balanced and seasoned, this game is a toss up. Both teams are with interim coaches. The weather is gonna be horrible. We could do to them what we did to WMU, they could do to us what WVU did, or it could be another GS vs UGA game.

I wouldn't put a dime on it one way or another.
