I think the guy from Stanford should've won the Heisman. He broke a record for all purpose yards in a season that had stood for 27 years and was set by the legendary Barry Sanders. Clearly a more impressive accomplishment than what the Heisman Trophy winner achieved.

In fairness to Barry Sanders Remember pre late 90s there were only 11 game regular seasons (12 didn't start till early 2000s) and stats from league champ games (which started in the early-mid 90s) and bowl games didn't count. So Sanders single season record came from 11 games, and the Stanford kid had 14 games .In addition, even though Stanford doesn't run a hurry up, some of their opponents did, so the Stanford kid undoubtedly had more plays per game than Sanders.

Too lazy to look up. I wonder how their per game avg and per play averages compared?

He could win it next year, as he is only a true soph so can't declare for the NFL till 2017..Fastest/quickest white guy I have ever seen on a football field.
