Well, we now understand why they went after him. The Ducks had NOTHING after VA.

Well, Duck fans clearly saw who their MVP was. Adams gave Lockie and the rest of the Ducks a 31 point head start, yet they could not sustain it. Had Adams stayed healthy all year, who knows what would have happened.
Now its Prukop's turn...

What was strange about that bowl game is that it wasn't only that Oregon's offense couldn't score after Adams got hurt but all of a sudden TCU's offense was capable of scoring 31 points in one half after being shut out during the first half. You'd think that if you have a 31 point lead you could hang on even if you lose your starter at quarterback and your offense goes South.
Also losing the starting center hurt Oregon as well.
But to answer the question I think that guy at Stanford should've won the Heisman. He set an all time record I-A/FBS record for all purpose yards.
