Nice, but.....Baldy wrote:Miami...da U @ The Appies.
Alabama is going to destroy Ole Miss.GannonFan wrote:I like them all (and I'm an Irish fan so the Michigan St game is a good one) but I'm going with Ole Miss/'Bama. This is like one of two or three chances tops for 'Bama to lose all year (@ Tenn and @ LSU with a maybe with @ Ark) so that makes it worthy. Gotta love that OOC schedule for 'Bama - a "neutral" location game in SEC territory to play USC, and then home games against WKU, Kent St, and Chatty.
This week you actually have a chance.CAA Flagship wrote:Nice, but.....Baldy wrote:Miami...da U @ The Appies.

Probably, Ole Miss didn't look great against FSU. But you never know, especially since it's a road game.89Hen wrote:Alabama is going to destroy Ole Miss.GannonFan wrote:I like them all (and I'm an Irish fan so the Michigan St game is a good one) but I'm going with Ole Miss/'Bama. I didn't, but why is that a bad choice?Pwns wrote:Who the heck voted for MSU/Notre Dame?
I did. As I stated, I think Bama crushes Ole Miss, I'm not sure either FSU or Louisville will have a punt, don't really think Oregon/Nebraska is a national impact game...Pwns wrote:Who the heck voted for MSU/Notre Dame?
Why does one loss take the luster off? Neither loss knocks either one of those teams out of the playoff hunt. If both win out then both are likely in the playoffs. Lose a second game, though, and yes, playoffs are over. That actually makes these games even more important.UNI88 wrote:It's not a great week. Oklahoma's loss to Houston and ND's to Texas take the luster off of their games. Alabama is going to be out for blood vs. Ole Miss so that could get ugly. Agree with 89 on Ducks/Huskers so I'm going with the ACC shootout. I could be wrong and one of the other games could be a great one though.
They're important games for the teams and their fans but a 2-0 ND vs. MSU would have been a bigger game nationally than a 1-1 ND is. Same thing with Oklahoma. The games could still be huge games but they're not as GOTW worthy as they would have been.GannonFan wrote:Why does one loss take the luster off?
