Nah, just cede the SEC to 'Bama - outside of them it's not a terribly strong conference this year.Ivytalk wrote:Had to go with the Aggies at Bama. Aggies beat Bama once when Manziel played there. That said, lightning probably won't strike twice. Might as well cede the Natty to Bama now.

Alabama has wins over two ranked teams - one by 19 points, one by 39 points. They play another top 10 team this week. And they still will play two more currently ranked teams this year.GannonFan wrote: Nah, just cede the SEC to 'Bama - outside of them it's not a terribly strong conference this year.
I think Michigan and Washington would be interesting matchups for 'Bama. Both can play defense and that would keep the game close. Both will probably have been tested a little more than 'Bama as well.
Cause Alabama has SECAIDS.Skjellyfetti wrote:Alabama has wins over two ranked teams - one by 19 points, one by 39 points. They play another top 10 team this week. That will be FIVE currently ranked teams Alabama plays during the regular season.
Washington has 0 wins over ranked teams. They have 1 game on their remaining schedule against a currently ranked team.
I agree with you on Michigan - but, I don't get your hardon for Washington. How would they be "more tested" than Alabama?

http://www.cbssports.com/college-footba ... ashington/Texas A&M, which has only lost to No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide , was slotted at No. 4 ahead of unbeaten Washington Huskies due to strength of schedule, CFP Selection Committee chairman Kirby Hocutt said. Hocutt cited Texas A&M's four wins against teams with .500 or better records, compared to two for Washington, as the reason the Aggies' edged the Huskies.
"Washington is a well-balanced team and they had a good win last week on the road against Utah Utes ," Hocutt said. "But in the committee's mind, Texas A&M has played a stronger schedule."
Washington got "Woffed."Skjellyfetti wrote:Skjellyfetti wrote:

Guess I should have added Texas A&M as well.
CFB puts TAMU in at number 4... ahead of undefeated Washington.
