D-II - will this be another championship year for Northwest Missouri?
D-III - could this be the year that a usual playoff also-ran like Linfield, UMHB, John Carroll, North Central or Johns Hopkins will play in the Stagg Bowl, meaning that neither Mount Union nor Whitewater will travel to Salem for the first time in more than two decades?

Well, for sure it won't be both Mount Union and Wisconsin Whitewater because they're on the same side of the bracket. Probably one of them will though.
In D-II I'm thinking the most successful conference historically is about due. That'd mean North Alabama. We'll see.

Solid game going on and nearing it's end with Mary Hardin Baylor leading Mount Union 14-12 with 4:23 left. Mount Union just failed on a 2 point conversion.
Mary Hardin Baylor does not look physically like a D-III team. Very big and athletic for that level of competition.
Wisconsin Oshkosh, which I think has very cool looking uniforms, is already in.

Ok. It's Mary Hardin Baylor vs. Wisconsin Oshkosh. No Mount Union. No Wisconsin Whitewater.
I watched good portions of both semifinals today and can tell you that Mary Hardin Baylor has the advantage in terms of athletes. What they've got is ridiculous for a D-III program. I think I'm pulling for Wisconsin Oshkosh. We'll see what happens.
BTW that was the first road game...at opponent's home field...that Mount Union's lost since 1994.

Well crap the D-III national title game is on at the same time as the FCS semifinal between James Madison and North Dakota State. That sucks. I wanted to watch each of them. I mean, I will probably try to watch them both at the same time now. I'll watch one on TV and the other on my computer. But it still sucks.

Wisconsin has a very intriguing DB say hello to AJ Plewa 6-4 190 he is a sophomore he has D1 size for his position needs to gain extra 20 lbs and join schools track team blasted MHB won 10-7 in defensive struggle.I hope he has 4.4 jets to go along with size.

The Wisconsin-"city" teams are basically DII without scholarships. Bison have found it a great state to recruit it.

I think you have to average 500 fans (not including cheerleaders or the team itself) to be DII.

No kidding this guy has legit D1 size to play DB shocked no out of state schools know of him. Also if I were Barry Alvarez I would pay attention to the high school scene more often.Shocked that NDSU did not come calling as you said its a hot bed for them to recruit and this guy could be a star on their defense and definite NFL prospect.
