First of all, it's an engineering-related competition won by Alabama, that should be the first flag. And second, apparently no entries from MIT, Cal Tech, Stanford, or Georgia Tech. This is the equivalent of the "G" league title in basketball. Noteworthy, within context.

Case Western and Iowa State are both excellent engineering schools but the point is still valid.
