Good for the 2nd furthest shot put by a US athlete in 2019, and would have been the 3rd longest of 2018.

Otterdahl wins the NCAA indoor shot by over 20 inches. Hope he continues to improve.

Otterdahl also wins the Weight Throw.

He will he just made the post race list of nominees for the BOWERMAN AWARD in TRACK&FIELD he SINGLEHANDEDLY carried NORTH DAKOTA STATE into NATIONAL PROMINENCE.

He was the overwhelming choice to win the shot and the 35 lbs throwing event!!!!!!

Otterdahl beats his outdoor personal-best of 70-1 1/2 in the shot put to extend his NDSU record and rank second in the NCAA for the outdoor season. He also finished as the top collegian in the discus, throwing 205-6, the second-best mark of his career.

Otterdahl won the Summit Shot and Discus, leading NDSU to the Men's Championship. NDSU also won the women's Championship.

Otterdahl qualified for the Discus yesterday, going for the Shot today.

Otterdahl 3rd in shot, Bison have 3 in the top 6. All 3 qualify for the national.

Otterdahl finishes 4th in shot, earning 1st team all America honors.

Otterdahl take 2nd in discus, 2 inches behind the winner.
