No. 1 seed University of Massachusetts hockey advanced to the NCAA Northeast Regional Final with a 4-0 win over No. 4 seed Harvard on Friday afternoon at SNHU Arena. The victory, which improves UMass' record to 29-9-0, marks the Minutemen's NCAA Tournament win in program history as the squad previously advanced to a regional semifinal with a 1-0 OT triumph over Clarkson in 2007. The Crimson end their season at 19-11-3

Yea...he’s a quality player...Each team is allowed to carry one extra player in the playoffs...this means there is no room for errors...

I actually almost watched it last night. Was flipping through channels and flipped on ESPN2 (I think) and it was right at the start. But I just don't like hockey enough. The only time I can every remember watching a hockey game start to finish was the 1980 USA vs. USSR thing. There was a time when we had a sports channel on my system that showed University of North Dakota hockey games. It was while they were still the Fighting Sioux. I sometimes watched stretches of those just because the crowd was so crazy and it was such a good atmosphere. Cool with the Fighting Sioux logo in the middle of the ice and all. That was a cool logo. Now that station is gone from our system and University of North Dakota no longer has a cool nickname and logo.
Just looked it up and saw that Minnesota Duluth won.
