Have the top 4 changed in the last decade?
Also, remember when Rowan was really good (well, second place good)?

Re: D-III Coaches Poll
Hardin-Simmons played 9 bowl games (mostly the Sun Bowl), one not technically sanctioned by the NCAA, and posted a 5-2-2 record in those games (5-2-1 in NCAA-sanctioned bowls).
1935 Sun Bowl (01 JAN 1936) vs. New Mexico A&M (Now New Mexico State) 14-14
1936 Sun Bowl (01 JAN 1937) vs. Texas Western (Now UTEP) 34-6
1942 Sun Bowl (01 JAN 1943) vs. Second Air Force 7-13
1946 Alamo Bowl (04 JAN 1947) vs. Denver (Disbanded 1960) 20-0
1947 Harbor Bowl (01 JAN 1948) vs. San Diego State 53-0 (Wow!)
1948 Grape Bowl (11 DEC 1949) vs. College of the Pacific (Now I-AAA) 35-35*
1948 Shrine Bowl (18 DEC 1948) vs. Ouachita Baptist (Now D-II) 41-12
1948 Camellia Bowl (30 DEC 1948) vs. Wichita State 49-12
1958 Sun Bowl (31 DEC 1958) vs. Wyoming 7-14
This caught me by surprise. I thought COP was the only school to play in more than one bowl in the same season. (The 1947 season, as the Tigers beat Utah State 35-21 in the Grape Bowl 11 DEC 1947 and followed that up with a 26-14 win over Wichita State 01 JAN 1948 in the Raisin Bowl at Ratcliffe Stadium in Fresno.) Hardin-Simmons played THREE just the next year, going 2-0-1. (Yes, the short-lived Grape Bowl was played in the historic Grape Bowl in Lodi, now the seriously reduced home of the Lodi High Flames.) Wow....
