There is one that stands out, but nice to start with several games featuring two ranked teams.

Given the games listed, I'll take 1 vs 14.
Good chances at a scalp:
UAB at Jax State (How did Jax State get a FBS to NOT buy out a home-and-home return game?!?)
BBQ at Utah
Manure Pile at Tulsa
Houston Baptist at New Mexico
EWU at UNLV
Kitties at Wyoming
UNI at #7 Iowa State (I don't buy that ranking.)
UCA at Arkansas State
Replace Fordham with an upper-tier MVFC or similar squad from Big Sky or CAA, and I'd give them a shot against Nebraska; the Bugeaters are in a freefall right now....

Don't think those are very good chances. Will be surprised if either is closer than 20.

I didn't mean the list to be a guarantee, 89. You did see those games I skipped, right? (Like UNC-Colorado.) I fully expect those to be the blowouts one might expect from a FBS-FCS tilt....
FYI, I just saw one I missed: SDSU at CO State. That could go on the list, I think. I'd like it even better if it were NDSU, but SDSU will do....

UGA vs Clemson for me. I'm looking to see if Clemson still has some magic now that TL is gone.

31-0
JSU was the "home" team, but it was not at Jacksonville. The game was at a neutral site in Montgomery.

Yep. UNI is gonna get stomped.
The defense will keep them close for 2-3 quarters and then be completely gassed from being on the field for 3/4+ of the time and the Clones will put them away.

Anyone watching the ECU/AppState game? ECU launches a Hail Mary on 4th and 27 for a touchdown.
Edit - call reversed. I’m not sure how they made that call.

THE Ohio State University got away with a CLEAR targeting last night as the game was coming down to the wire. That non-call was freaking disgraceful....

Well, it seems that I picked at least ONE scalp. The Manure Pile beat Tulsa....

O Yee of little faith..
I have faith in our ability to play well against a good FBS team and proceed to lose to teams like Indiana State or Missouri State.
It really is incredible how often that happens.

Oldest son was in the stands for this.
Also stormed the field after the game.

Clemson was a shit show. At one point they had -14 rushing yards...The loss of Lawrence, Etienne and 7 others players to the NFL, transfers, etc... clearly left its mark.
Clemson didn't even get a touchdown. First time they've lost to the SEC since 2007....
What? You're way off. First SEC loss since 2007? Hardly. It's not even their first loss to the SEC since 2017.
They lost 5 in a row to South Carolina between 2009-2013. Georgia beat them in 2014. Auburn has beaten them at least 2x since 2007. Alabama at least 3x...to include the semi finals in 2018.

Read Florida State and that Univ. of Florida...oops.
Still - Georgia, South Carolina, Auburn and Alabama have beaten Clemson since 2007. The all time record of Clemson v SEC teams is like 56-100 or something like that.
