Huh? When did SH take over 89's account. There's some decent games this week, it's not all drek.

There is one game between ranked teams. Not going to do a poll with one option.

Hell, there are only four other ranked teams even facing a team with a winning record and those are UTEP, Maryland, Purdue and Liberty.

This could be the worst week 10 in the history of I-A football.

And that is why CGD was talking about going to Cheny for the MSU/Eagles game...

I don't think it's that bad.

You have Auburn at A&M (both ranked) - Auburn wins that and it sets up the Iron Bowl (in Auburn this year) as the play-in game for the SEC title game.
You have undefeated Wake Forest playing at a not terrible and .500 UNC team. Wake is quietly 8-0 and at least offensively looks the part. With Clemson not looking anything like Clemson of old, the road blocks for Wake to go undefeated are getting less and less.
You have Michigan St, coming off of maybe the best college game of the year last week, travelling to West Lafayette against a Purdue team that has knocked off teams from their pedestals after big wins already this year.
You have Oregon at Washington. Oregon still just has the one loss and the win over Ohio St. Again, running out of games to eliminate teams and Washington isn't terrible.
And you have Tennessee going to Kentucky - I was told that Kentucky is really good so we can't overlook this game.

You just proved how bad it is. Ranked teams playing "not terrible" teams as potential GOTW?

Eh, 'Bama played a "not terrible" A&M team a few weeks ago and it was highly entertaining.

My usual "weird" FBS choices involve teams and/or individuals to whom I have a connection. These aren't on that list....

(Well, UNT used to be....)

I'll be watching the Notre Dame game, but this isn't the Navy teams of a few years ago. Still have lost a step from those pretty heady Navy teams. Still cool when they do the alma mater at the end, though. And they'll put up a fight against Army later in the year.

Out of all the games this week, a 2-6 ODU vs 1-7 FI is poll worthy?

Why not a 4-4 Florida vs Univ. So. Carolina?

I believe that 89 wasn't impressed with this week's slate so he took some of the worst games. UF vs USC is mediocre not horrible.

FYI, USC is at Arizona St this week.

Liberty (7-2) at #15 Ole Miss (6-2)
#22 Penn State (5-3) at Maryland (5-3)
#5 Michigan State (8-0) at Purdue (5-3)
#12 Auburn (6-2) at #13 Texas A&M (6-2)
#16 UTSA (8-0) at UTEP (6-2)

The best of this bunch? I hate the SEC, but I'd probably have to go with Auburn and TX A&M, as they are pretty evenly matched in terms of records and rankings.

89 must have had a fight with his wife.

South Carolina beats the SNOT out of Florida. 40-17. Firings have already commenced at Florida. Florida was favored to win but boy did they blow it.
