Hornet Pitcher Throws a No-No!

Sac State pitcher Marissa Bertuccio (18-9) whiffed 13 and walked only two in a complete game no-hitter in the opener of a twin bill today, winning 4-0. The Hornets later swept the DH by winning the night-cap 13-3. In Game 2, Hornet 3B Lewa Day pulled a Rickey Henderson by launching a lead-off home run.
The Hornets are now 27-23, 11-6 Big Sky, while Southern Utah falls to 3-39, 0-17 Big Sky.
