Rubber Duckies got hosed (not that I mind actually). SEC bumps Notre Dame to #7 and Ohio State is #8 means that Georgia gets a favorable matchup (winner of Indiana/Notre Dame) and the Duckies have to face either the Buckeyes again or Tennessee.

I didn’t. Of the 13 former JMU players who transferred, saw 10 out there (8 starting) vs Notre Dame. I think every single one of them was recruited and played as FCS. Too much of a talent gap between IU and ND. IU wasn‘t as good as their schedule indicated. Only team with a winning record they beat was 7-5 Michigan. They lucked out with 6 of the bottom 7 in the Big 10, and had a weak OOC (wasn’t their fault UCLA uncharacteristically sucked). Of the 2 top 7 teams they played, Ohio State and Notre Dame, they got manhandled by both.
6 of the the former JMU players did get All Big 10 honors, which is pretty impressive to go from FCS recruit/signee to P4 all conference honors.
-#13 WR Josh Sarratt was a Fr AA at St Francis, then then 1st team Sun Belt at JMU with almost 1200 yds receiving, then 3rd team All Big 10. Was IU’s leading WR.
-#44 TE Zach Horton 2023 1st team All Sun Belt, then Honorable Mention All Big 10.
-#6 DE Mikail Kamara 2023 2nd team All Sun Belt, then 1st team All Big 10.
-#99 DT James Carpenter (former JMU walkon) 2023 2x All Sun Belt, then Honorable Mention All Big 10.
-#4 LB Aiden Fischer 2023 1st team All Sun Belt, then 1st team All Big 10.
-#5 DeAngelo Ponds 2023 2nd Team All Sun Belt, 1st team All Big 10

Lots of ECB commentary and incompetent and/or corrupt officiating the last couple of days. How that hit wasn't targeting today, I'll never know....
Every team with a top 4 seed lost, and the top three got stomped. So, is this a story of poor seeding, poor selection, or the forever debate of rest vs. rust?
