So why not an undefeated Boise St or BYU? Boise St beat up on a "powerhouse" Oklahoma team, Utah has rolled an Alabama that would have been in the BCS title game had they not lost some key players for the SEC championship (and we can forget about that Hawaii embarrassment for the sake of this argument). So why are these teams considered weak? Weak schedule? Why is it that these teams get criticized for their schedules versus a Florida, Ohio St, Notre Dame team that have weak schedules? Is it money? The BCS wants to make sure the most people are watching? Chances are Boise will win out the rest of their games, but the question here is, with the strength of their schedule, do they deserve to play in the title game?
WAC MVC BCS Snub
WAC MVC BCS Snub
I tried to think of another three letter acronym for "snub" in the title, but I'm to tired this morning. So I hate the morning radio show on my drive into work everyday, but sometimes they actually talk about sports instead of finger banging the SEC. Today was how Boise St doesn't deserve to be in the BCS title game because of their "weak" conference and OOC schedule. Well they did beat a good Oregon team, some of the WAC stinks, but for the most part, they are a pretty balanced conference. Then I get to thinking, who does powerhouse/perennial BCS championship contender Florida play this year? Chuck South, Troy, FIU, Florida State.... and the rest of the SEC teams they play are pretty much garbage this year (minus LSU or USC). Is USC the last tough game they will have to play? Is USC really that good? They did lose to UGA as LSU almost did too baring a horrendous celebration penalty call

Even more reason why the playoffs should be instituted in FBS. Every other division does it? No wonder why greed is DEADLY sin.
