If Utah Senator Orrin Hatch has anything to do with it, the federal government will be launching an anti-trust investigation on the BCS...
Hatch asked the president to launch a Justice Department investigation into the way the BCS - a complex system of computer rankings and polls that often draws criticism - crowns its national champion.
“Mr. President, as you have publicly stated on multiple occasions, the BCS system is in dire need of reform,” Hatch, R-Utah, wrote in a 10-page letter, obtained by The Associated Press.
Hatch, who held a hearing on the BCS in July, told Obama that a “strong case” can be made that the BCS violates antitrust laws.
Let's see...we have an economic crisis...a health care "crisis"...no energy policy...two wars...so, we must need an investigation into college football...

Hawaii's senator is in on this also... as well as a California senator for what I can assume is the "surprise! surprise! University of Southern Cal got snubbed again by the BCS"

You really have to stop trusting and hoping that our elected officials produce some good output.

No they should do this first. It will keep them from screwing up the important things more then they are already screwed up. And when people see their BCS "solutions", they might be scared straight and be less likely to let our so-called leaders get their hands on the health care system.
