W&M - they're home and are more explosive than Cats
UR - Spiders under-rated & Rhody not very good
JMU - Dukes continue to roll
Maine - Yale got spanked last week
Nova - Cats aren't good, but Danes suck
Stony B - Seawolves get back on their feet as Towson D struggles again

W&M 30, NH 27. This is a must win for both teams. I would think the Tribe is really good if we had not lost at Delaware. I would think the Wildcats are really good if they had not gotten blown out at Stony Brook. History would say both are pretty good, but so far both are behind JMU and Richmond.

Richmond 31, Rhode Island 10. I cannot believe Rhode's win last week was not a fluke.

JMU 54, Elon 17. JMU starts the tough part of their remaining schedule next week. Can anyone hold them under 40?

Maine 20, Yale 17. Not sure how good either team is yet.

Villanova 20, Albany 10. I think the Nova defense leads them to a win.

Stony Brook 17, Towson 14. Stony Brook hurt by injuries, but they still might go 6-2 with a very favorable remaining schedule.

SBU already did (JMU 38, SBU 20). Granted, JMU scored 28 in 1st half despite missing 2 FG in rain (37 & 40 yds) with backup placekicker. Also 4th qtr had 45 yd Vad Lee TD run called back due to a penalty (OL block below waist beyond LOS), and ended the game with the ball taking a knee a couple of times inside SBU red zone. Anyway, Wouldn't surprise me to see at least 1 of the following: UR, @ WM, @ UD, or VU, to hold JMU to 30s..Would surprise me if anyone held JMU in the 20s (outside of a horrendous weather event)..

I watched much of that game, too. It sure has felt as though JMU scores 50 every week. I am curious as to whether they will manage Lee some in the remaining weeks. For example, I would be surprised if he plays 4 quarters this week. His stats are already more than sufficient for the Payton award as long as the team finishes well. I'll never forget how Landers injury impacted the last great JMU playoff run. When you have a special talent like Landers, V. Lee, J. Robertson, or Lang Campbell, you want to minimize their chance of injury so you will have them for the big moments.

"CAA FOOTBALL WEEK 7 AWARDS

RICHMOND, Va. – CAA Football's week seven awards were announced on Monday morning, recognizing William & Mary's Kendell Anderson and DeAndre Houston-Carson, and Villanova's Cameron McCurry and Zach Bednarczyk.

Offensive Player of the Week
Kendell Anderson | RB | William & Mary
- Carried the ball 27 times for 174 yards in William & Mary's win over New Hampshire in a top-25 showdown.
- Posted two second-quarter touchdowns, including a 69-yard score that ignited a run of 27-unanswered points for the Tribe.
- Has now eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark in four-straight games.

Defensive Player of the Week
Cameron McCurry | S | Villanova
- Finished with five tackles, two interceptions, one pass breakup and a forced fumble in Villanova's 37-0 win at UAlbany.
- His forced fumble – and subsequent Villanova recovery - stalled a UAlbany drive inside the Wildcats' four yard-line, preserving the Nova shutout.
- The pair of interceptions marked his first two of the 2015 season.

Special Teams Player of the Week
DeAndre Houston-Carson | S | William & Mary
- Blocked a fourth-quarter punt that resulted in a 30-yard touchdown on William & Mary's next play in the Tribe's victory over UNH.
- The play marked his eighth-career blocked kick on special teams.
- Added two tackles on defense for the Tribe.

Rookie of the Week
Zach Bednarczyk | QB | Villanova
- Finished a perfect 12-of-12 passing for 152 yards and two touchdowns in Villanova's victory at UAlbany.
- Set a Villanova school record for completion percentage, passing John Robertson's 16-of-17 performance from 2013.
- Added eight carries for 22 yards on the ground for the Wildcats."
