CAA Week 11

Post by TribePride »

New Hampshire will never die. Week 11 is a key to the championship race and to see how many teams remain mathematically alive for the final week.

Richmond and W&M both need wins to set up a showdown for the CAA title next week in Richmond. Richmond is at Villanova(which needs a win to stay alive for the share of the CAA title and a possible playoff berth). W&M hosts Towson who also needs a win to stay alive for a share of the CAA title and a possible playoff berth.

JMU is at Delaware and New Hampshire faces Albany.

Right now, New Hampshire cannot win the CAA title, but it can get to the playoffs again if they win Saturday and next week against Maine.

Towson is definitely in if they win their last 2, but might get in even with a loss to W&M. The CAA is going to 3 teams in for certain, but there are 3 more teams fighting for a possible 4th bid. Technically, Richmond, W&M and JMU are not yet in since they all could finish 7-4(even though many 7-4 teams will likely make the playoffs). Should be a very exciting Week 11.

Richmond better win next week. I think they only have one win over a team with better than a .500 record. Towson and UNH might sneak in before them.
