Liberty just helped JMU's chances for a seed if JMU can beat Villanova. Of the potential 9 win teams for the top 8 seeds, I think the top top 8 would be (not necessarily in this exact order):
1. JSU (9-1/7-0) vs (3-7/2-5 Murray St. Lock for a seed win or lose.
2. McNeese (9-0/7-0) @ Lamar (5-5/3-4) Lock for a seed win or lose.
3. ILSU (8-2/6-1) vs SD (5-5/3-4)
4. NDSU (8-2/6-1)vs Missouri St (1-9)
5. W&M (8-2/6-1) @ UR (7-3/5-2)
6. SDSU (8-2/5-2) @ WIU (5-5/4-3)
7. PSU (8-2/5-2) vs EWU (6-4/5-2)
8. CSU (9-1/6-0) going to get crushed by Bama. CSU is 8-0 vs I-AA..

Assuming (8-2/6-1) UTC gets beat by FSU...
Then next in line would be JMU (8-2/5-2) IF beat Villanova..NDSU ain't losing to MO St, so it comes down to 1 of 4 being knocked off for a 9-2 JMU to get the #8 seed: ILSU, W&M, SDSU, PSU..I think likely 1 of those 4 loses...

Highly doubtful. That particular game the backup played much better than Gus did and Liberty got ahead very quickly/early as I recall. Think Montana was still hungover from the NDSU win.

I've been saying it for most of the season. We sure as hell weren't #1 material (I've said that all season). But the last few seasons has proved it.
