Charleston Southern vs The Citadel round 2! Buckle up boys.

Well....no matter how today plays out....I'd say "Mission Accomplished" by The Citadel and Charleston Southern. What a pair of incredible seasons.

Highlights....
Citadel beats South Carolina
CSU beats previously #1 Coastal Carolina
Citadel snaps streak and beats Wofford
CSU beats 2014 playoff team and beats Liberty, secures only second perfect undefeated Big South record in conference history.
Citadel secures share of SoCon Championship, first since 1992.
CSU vs Citadel on September 26th ends up being an outstanding out of conference matchup of 2 of the nation's top 16 teams
CSU lands home seeded playoff game
Citadel makes playoff and wins on the road at Coastal

And now....CSU vs Citadel....2 of the final 16 left standing. Only 3 SC college teams still playing football.

Someone will get outscored today and the other team will move on. But neither team can really lose. The exposure this brought both programs will pay off huge in recruiting and fundraising.

Congrats to both teams on a wonderful 2015....now....let's get this fight started for the next few hours and see where the dust settles when it's over.

Oh...and a kinda sick twisted note....heard from a fairly well connected alumni and donor that the CSU athletic department knew what a cluster the parking and seating would be...and let it play out ON PURPOSE....to pressure the administration to finally build the stadium how it needs to be. Doing a temporary fix would've only delayed the permanent fix...so they are gonna let it be a circus on purpose to show the need. Just rumors...but...it's about the ONLY explanation that makes any sense whatsoever on why they didn't bring in more bleachers. They just cannot be that blind....so it had to be intentional for some reason.

CSU up 14 - 3 at half somehow. With 3rd string QB. This is a VERY sloppy game. Both teams are turning the ball over. Haven't counted but I'd guess 7 total turnovers combined.

Turnovers and bad passing by QBS is dominating this game. Both teams had wide open TD passes ogerthrown. Neither team can provide pass protection.

Interesting 2nd half. But we haven't even see 50% of either teams best yet. Ugly 1st half.

I'm calling it, CSU wins and advances. I just don't see The Citadel getting any combo of a TD, 2 point conversion and FG to pull ahead.
