JMU INT Schor's 1st pass, UD does nothing with it.
JMU 2nd possession couple 1st downs then a fumble, UD does nothing then kicks 55 yd FG with huge tailwind.

JMU gets its TD after a long run.
UD gets a TD drive going late 1st/early 2nd

The wind is fooking ridiculous, 17 mph/gusting 25-30? Schor can't throw into the wind. The JMU punts and kickoffs are short. The UD kickoff goes out of the endzone to the hedgerows.

UD gets a late 1st Qtr/early 2nd Qtr TD drive

JMU couple 1st downs 1st possession with wind but is stopped. Then gets the defensive TD

Wondering where JMU's All Maerican TE #88 was. Just found out for 4 weeks with mono. Sucks for JMU.
UD loses a starting LB to injury.

That was UD's All CAA LB, Charles Bell that went down in the 2nd quarter. They also lost a DL in the 3rd quarter to injury- not sure if he came back. So both teams were missing one of their studs..

Have to give credit to the UD defense- that was JMU's lowest offensive output since the VU game last season. But that was against the then #1 defense in the country & without Schor for 3 quarters..Hope Bell is ok. UD defense will give them the ability to win any of their remaining 7 games. Not like to happen though with the UD offensive struggles.

JMU: 347 yards offense (254 rushing, 93 passing) Not bad rushing considering that UD gave up only 59 yds net rushing to DSU, 81 to VA Tech, and 46 to Cornell.
Trai Sharpe: 36 carries, 185 yards.
Schor: 10 for 19, 93 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT.
-Like Rocco said in his post game the wind (one of the windiest I've ever been at) hurt JMU more than UD.
-Have to give credit to UD's defense, it wasn't just the wind. They kept heat on Schor and broke up several passes with tight coverage.
-JMU WR did have a couple they dropped (in endzone and inside UD 5 yard line) that were spot on throws by Schor that cost JMU 2 TDs..
-Schor threw a couple away

UD: 229 yards offense (140 rushing, 89 passing).
Walker: 5 for 11, 47 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
Caruso: 2 for 7, 42 yards.
Between the wind, JMU's very good pass rush, which UD was struggling to block, & UD seemingly only having 1 decent WR (Cherry), there wasn't much of a passing game. I don't think no wind would have made much of a difference...

It did seem that JMU made the better halftime adjustments..

Sure does. Left Walker's hand at the 23 and hits Williams at the 22. CSN never showed that angle. One of the worst broadcasts I can ever remember.

Yeah, I know JMU partnered with UD to get CSN (Philly & Mid Atlantic) to broadcast the game, but it was a UD provided feed as I understand it. After the game I saw all this bitching on the JMU board about the broadcast. After watching the 1st half of the game recording last night I see why:shock: I've seen online broadcasts that bad, but that was the worst TV broadcast picture I have ever seen. It seemed like about every 15 seconds or so you'd have 3-4 seconds of this distortion/buffering. WTF UD- how do you provide such a fu*ked up feed? If I was JMU and Comcast I'd say never again.

JMU partnered with W&M with a similar deal in for JMU @ W&M 10/21. If that is a W&M provided feed hopefully they will have their shit together.

Odd, the online feed that UD has is normally very good. I forgot it was being carried by CSN so I didn't see what you're talking about, but like I said, the online (free) feed that UD puts out is normally good. Maybe since this was the first time they fed the feed to someone like CSN for rebroadcast that was a factor? It's tough sledding in FCS when you have to run the whole show just to get a game on TV for people to see it.
