There's one thing we can guarantee: there will be exactly one Big Sky team in the quarterfinals. Southern Utah did catch Weber napping in Ogden, in part because Stefan Cantwell got a concussion(?) in the second quarter, but the Wildcats will be ready this time and they're the better team.

I don't know how much it could've been avoided by I would like to see the playoff committee make SOME effort to avoid having conference teams play each other in the second round. There's way too much of that. Of the 8 second round games 5 of them are going to involve teams from the same conference playing each other. And it could've been 6 depending on what happened in overtime if Nicholls State hadn't fumbled with first and goal at the 1.
