Re: Will FCS Weber beat FBS Wyoming on Sep 5?
Wyoming vs. Weber State
Yeah I am calling for Weber to have a possible 2-0 record against the Mountain West. As I just mentioned the offense for Weber is pretty ridiculous. Unfortunately, I cant say the same for the defense. Only five starters are returning so they will be looking to some young guys to step up. But again the offense is just sick.
Wyoming on the other hand is replacing the backfield and is doing so at the same time as having a new coach who will bring in a new offense. With a new look offense things cant get any worse as Wyoming was 108 in total offense last season. The defense will be looking to remain the teams strength and may only have some questions in the middle at linebacker. The line and secondary return well in tact only having to find one new starter at each level.

the real question is will they win in Montana. I would have voted yes on that question.

Hey...I didn't say you could vote for Wyo...someone go erase his vote.
Re: Will FCS Weber beat FBS Wyoming on Sep 5?
i'm actually way more excited (and nervous) about the montana/weber game than the Wyoming one. In the overall scheme of things it's a lot more important. Unless, that is, if weber can beat both wyoming and csu. in that case they would have to have a very high ranking.

But there are a lot of doubters ready to drop Weber sharply...win one FBS game, that goes a long ways to erase doubts.weberwildcat wrote:pattenjr wrote:i'm actually way more excited (and nervous) about the montana/weber game than the Wyoming one. That's the truth. I know most of us that new what Weber was capable of from the year before when we were arguing for them last year and then the once the east coast guys started to come around on them a little and they lost to EWU they all gave them a major drop. I got sick of arguing with people about the fact that Weber was really good and I never get sick of arguing...fuck you.dbackjon wrote:But there are a lot of doubters ready to drop Weber sharply...win one FBS game, that goes a long ways to erase doubts.weberwildcat wrote:

Re: Will FCS Weber beat FBS Wyoming on Sep 5?
Since Wyoming just suspended it's top two wide outs for this game, they will be running a spread formation with nobody to throw the ball to.
However, I still say they will shut down Weber purple weanies, run the ball down their throats and win the game anyway.
Weber loses at Wyoming, but gets throttled at CSU.
On a positive note, Utah mormons get a great opportunity to hit the liquor store, fireworks stands, and the dildoe store in Evanston four times going and coming from MWC tilts this fall.

I don't think Wyoming's going to miss those two wideouts enough to matter vs. Weber. I still think it's funny that Weber fans think they'll be 2-0 against the MWC..

Go thru all the posts on this thread, not one weber fan said we'll go 2-0, but you just did. We are hoping for 2 good games though, a win would be sweet though, but we aint predicting a 2-0.

Too bad Sep 12th is UNC's home opener, or I'd go up to CSU and watch.
Re: Will FCS Weber beat FBS Wyoming on Sep 5?
Weber has lost its last two games to BSC opponents.

And they don't need to "belong" to a club anymore to get a drink in a bar. If now they can just get rid of that shitty law not allowing one to get a shot and a beer in the same order.Wedgebuster wrote:Since Wyoming just suspended it's top two wide outs for this game, they will be running a spread formation with nobody to throw the ball to.

It does make it easy to just drive through that state without stopping though.grizzaholic wrote:And they don't need to "belong" to a club anymore to get a drink in a bar. Re: Will FCS Weber beat FBS Wyoming on Sep 5?
Actually, the "club" liquor law in Utah was very recently repealed. Not sure why the attraction to the big booze store in Evanston, prices maybe?
A tip for you cricket-crunchers who will be headed to Ft. Collins, bypass the Evanston booze stop and hit one of the big stores in Ft. Fun, it is much cheaper down there. Also, bring your pot, there is a $20.00 spot fine for smoking pot in public in Ft. Collins.
Don't try it when you are in Laramie though..

Re: Will FCS Weber beat FBS Wyoming on Sep 5?
This is correct...though in between these 2 Big Sky losses WSU dropped 49 pts on No. 3 ranked Cal Poly in an NCAA playoff 1st rd win.kemajic wrote:Weber has lost its last two games to BSC opponents.
That was ashame Poly's kicker sucked so bad, they woulda gone 2-0 vs FBS.

After going through this thread and reading how incredibly retarded most of the fans are. The majority coming from the great state of Montana. All the cheap shots against Mormons... Yikes! aren't we talking about football. Come on people... Grow up!!!

Well, dude... My hatred of the Bengals goes a lot deeper than the football team... If you haven't noticed when Weber plays ISU in football, ISU wants to win real bad... but they make a huge deal about it... and they don't. Webers football team has had a sub-par football team for over 40 years. Going back as far as I can remember, ISU has beat Weber twice in the last 23 seasons...
