Fall Camp for Idaho is going to say a lot. If the Vandals come out of camp with Mason Petrino as the starter, (yes, Coach Petrino's son), many Idaho fans think it will be a 6-5 year. If Colton Richardson is the starter, a 7-4 or even a 8-3 year is possible.

I have said, I think this year will be a 7-4 season while missing the playoffs.

If you go 7-4, it depends on who those losses are to. If two of them are FBS, you'd probably be a bubble team at 6-2 in conference.

If you go 7-4, it depends on who those losses are to. If two of them are FBS, you'd probably be a bubble team at 6-2 in conference.

Yes, Idaho plays Fresno State, Western New Mexico University and Florida as OOC (1-2). So, 6-2 in conference is possible. But, 7-4 might not make the playoffs. We have lots of work to recruit for years to come.

Should EWU be good? Yes
Should Weber be good? Yes
Should MSU produce something for once? I think so
That leaves 10 teams, or wherever the fuck UND put us. And Idaho scheduled themselves out of the playoffs.

Tough to get past the quarters when you face WIU, a seeded BSC champ, and the runner up.

Well, Sac State should make the playoffs—they went 7-4 last year and lost very little. Whether they will or not is anyone's guess. I'm betting yes, but we'll see.

Well, again, I'm thinking of 2011. Sac was considered a playoff contender, they beat Oregon State & Montana (for the only time ever), and then won only 2 games the rest of the way.

Special teams were a big reason for the 2011 failure, however, and the Hornets look pretty solid there this time.

Special teams were a big reason for the 2011 failure, however, and the Hornets look pretty solid there this time.

Fleming went down mid-season. Losing the starting QB can derail a season.

We have to replace 2 starting OL this season so keeping Thomson healthy is a must to have any hope at the playoffs.

Forgive my ignorance as I've been out of the loop for a while.....but has the Griz fallen that much? I mean, I'm not seeing anyone (or a majority) predict the Griz making playoffs from BSC. This is not meant to be Smack, I honestly don't know and would appreciate some insight from Griz / BSC fans. Did the Griz falter that much or did the BSC improve as a whole that much?
