7-5 if a few things go right. 6-6 or 5-7 sounds more realistic, though. 10 out of the 12 coaches on staff are new, a beat up offensive line to start the season, late departures/transfers, five tough road games.....that's too much to expect a playoff push.
Montana State, my best guess right now is 9-3, maybe 8-4
We get the favorable schedule this year.
Our big question mark is QB. I think Casey will do well enough.

10-2 would be a best possible prediction for me almost any 12 game season with a P5. It would be an extreme rarity for me to predict a win over a P5 (I never have) or for JMU to go 8-0 in the CAA (don’t think ever have).

Hope springs eternal but reality trips me up. While I would really love to say we’re going to do better, the tough schedule, unproven qb, and last years dumpster fire have me worried.
