Teams like Central Washington, Portland State, UC Davis, etc. have given the Griz a scare(WSU more then a scare) when they aren't particularly threatened with a loss, but once you get their attention by playing them close, they will make sure you don't even contend with them the next time around. Weber State obviously got their attention last season with their win in Ogden, only to get dismantled by the Griz later. Now that the Griz are more familiar with what they are up against, I don't think WSU will stand a chance.
I still think WSU beats Wyoming, and will give CSU a run for their money. But beating the Griz at WGS in late October will be to tough for the Cats.

I think if Weber were to do it, this would be the year, there is no denying that Weber has the Most talented offense in the Big Sky this upcoming season, their Defense has ? marks, but I think Weber has a better chance than alot of other fans think, and Im hoping Weber pulls it off.
And Weber has never really had a team like they have now, A Championship Caliber Team, they have the talent, just because Weber's schedule is so much harder than most every other team's in the conference, doesnt mean they wont be able to overcome it.
Us Weber fans have every right to hope, not just Montana fans, UM fans come to expect it, we dont, and now that we have the same team (REIGNING BIG SKY CHAMPS, co or not it doesnt matter)coming back this year, we are just supposed to forget about it? Hell no, Im excited, I cant wait to watch WIldcat Football in front of 3,000 or 17,000 who in the hell cares? as long as the team wins.
(Oh and Blackfalkin, in Mcbrides first game at Weber State, Stewart Stadium sold out, 17,596, stadium holds 17,500. Its not just a fairy tale)

My favorite thing about this thread is that most Montana fans aren't discussing it. Looks like maybe some of us have learned that counting the chickens oughta wait until at least a little bit of fuckin' has been done.
