I had them in this order
Sac State Hornets
William & Mary Tribe
Villanova Wildcats
Montana Grizzlies
Only 3 CAA teams for me, JMU, Nova and Bill & Mary

Ursus does a great job running the poll, but he's not in charge of how people vote. I've tried discussing this with voters, but the so called experts disagree with me. Need more people like you to come back and make the AGS poll great again.
Think about what will happen if the wabbits beat the bizumbs ...
It's a shame. It used to be the absolute best FCS/I-AA poll.
mine
It still is, the other polls are that bad.
I don't. I was standing on the north concourse, like always, and it was right in front of me but I had my head turned to talk to my son as the flag flew. There are SIU fans being all pissy going "He wasn't even on the field when it was called". He 100% was. He was standing right on the LOS. Given he had picked up a personal foul and an unsportsmanlike on the same play on the previous defensive snap for SIU, and how worked up he was, I'm guessing he said a few choice "no-no" words while standing right next to the ref while waiting for the UNI offense to get set.
There were news reports that said he wasn't on the field either but I don't see how that could be. He's the emotional leader of their defense and the flag flew while the UNI offense was running past the Ref onto the field. There's almost no way he was on the sideline at that point in the game. And whatever he said, he said it loud enough for the Ref to hear.clenz wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 12:42 pmI don't. SIU's entire goal early in that game was to talk as much shit and be as dirty as possible to get UNI to respond to throw UNI off. It worked early, but UNI settled in and Farley got their heads right. Farley said as much post-game, and then Monday at his presser. The language and words flying out of SIU's mouths and sidelines were something that hasn't happened in the dome in a very long time it sounds like.
It's entirely possible that SDSU misses the playoffs (though to likely). They have a D2 win and have USD and NDSU left. They go 7-4 (4-4) and they will be 6-4 (4-4) on the resume sheet having lost 4 of their last 6. Pending how the rest plays out but that would likely put them 5th or 6th after tie breakers.
Their wins right now are
FBS Colorado State - bad FBS but FBS none the less
D2 Lindenwood
Indiana State - who likely finishes 8th in the Valley
Dixie Staet - winless
Western Illinois - 10th or 11th place in the Valley pending tie breaks
YSU - 10th or 11th place in the Valley pending how tie breaks fall
They have NDSU, USD and UND left. It's possible they lose all 3. I'd put money on 2 of 3. If they don't beat NDSU they won't have a win against the top half of the Valley because UND is going to finish 9th (or below) in the Valley and USD is likey to be 6th or worse if they lose to SDSU
They will have played 3 actually good teams and lost to all of them - SIU, UNI and NDSU. A loss to USD, even more so UND the final week of the season, would be catastrophic.
He was 1000% on the field. I watched him walk off the field and slam his helmet on the field while screaming at the ref as he walked off. UNI was going to the north endzone, and I said I was on the concourse above the north endzone. It was maybe 20 yards from me.UNI88 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 12:56 pmThere were news reports that said he wasn't on the field either but I don't see how that could be. I believe you. I was watching on TV and they were showing the UNI offense (I think Day and others) running past the official onto the field when he threw the flag. It was long after the turnover and the defense usually gets onto the field before the offense in those situations.clenz wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 1:41 pmHe was 1000% on the field. People want to say he "wasn't on the field" because of what lead up to it.
UNI turned the ball over - he was called for the unsportsmanlike and personal foul after that play. Thsu SIU took over and were on offense. 2 plays later they turned the ball back over to UNI. UNI hadn't run a play yet so it is filed in game feed as having happened while SIU had the ball but that isn't what happened at all.
I can tell you he was on the left side of the defense, because I watched him cross in front of the center as he walked to the SIU sideline. IIRC the penalties he picked up 2 plays earlier were directed at either Frazier or Peine - who play on the right side of the UNI OL (which is where he was when the flag flew)
Thanks for chiming in Mr Latey Late.Mvemjsunpx wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 3:22 pmI guess that would seem weird if you only looked at Maine's win over W&M and ignored how crappy the rest of their resume is.![]()
I think that is pretty solid even though I question how good SHSU really is with their 10-ply schedule.Gil Dobie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 12:02 pm 11/8/2021

Still have a couple Ivy's in the Poll. Best win outside the Ivy, maybe Holy Cross. They also beat UNH, who has lost 6 straight, including a game to previously winless Albany. Monmouth knocking on the door is a little high for them too.
