I took the Jacks and the points. Without the turnovers this is tight game. MSU’s defense is exposed a little.Mvemjsunpx wrote: ↑Fri Dec 12, 2025 9:41 pm Adam Jones scores to probably put it away. MSU's pass rush and SFA's inability to stop it were why 2 of those turnovers happened, though.kalm wrote: ↑Fri Dec 12, 2025 10:11 pmI took the Jacks and the points. Final: 41-28 Bobcats.
Despite all those penalties, Montana State still overcomes SFA's near inability to play in the elements.

All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

Throw this out here.
If you do not have access to ESPN or ABC, purchase the Sling One day pass for $5 plus tax.
Purchased it right before watching the SFA @ MSU game. It'll cover the Tarleton State game AND, as I'm technically subscribed to a "TV Provider", I can log into the ESPN app with my Sling credentials and will get to stream the Montana game in the app.
3 games for $5.

Griz embarrassingly gave up a TD in the first half. 24-7 Montana at the half.

You're right. I will look at the positives. Wortham became the single season all purpose yards record holder. Thanks for sending him our way.

Wortham has 1139 receiving yards this year. He only had 209 yards for Eastern last year (he had 313 rushing). What's up with that? I mean, I know they had Chism, but still…

We’ve had a different OC practically every year since Best took over. The current guy was a grad student in charge of video production and film. He had zero coaching experience prior to 2023 when Best named him Associate Head Coach…handling a bunch of the administrative stuff. He’s a good guy and loyal to Best but the play calling and in-game personnel decisions show the lack of experience.Mvemjsunpx wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 5:45 amWortham has 1139 receiving yards this year. So much for those rankings and strength of schedules
But Nova coming out of the CAA and going down and beating the number three team in the nation on the road was a big surprise…. Right ?
Valley teams shouldn’t surprise anyone against a big sky team not named Montana or Montana State

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Also went back and watched the highlights on how they beat North Dakota State and they went right to number two
