Wortham has 1139 receiving yards this year. He only had 209 yards for Eastern last year (he had 313 rushing). What's up with that? I mean, I know they had Chism, but still…

We’ve had a different OC practically every year since Best took over. The current guy was a grad student in charge of video production and film. He had zero coaching experience prior to 2023 when Best named him Associate Head Coach…handling a bunch of the administrative stuff. He’s a good guy and loyal to Best but the play calling and in-game personnel decisions show the lack of experience.

I haven’t seen an Illinois state game all year until the UC Davis game and I was very impressed

Also went back and watched the highlights on how they beat North Dakota State and they went right to number two
