Worst Performance: (#6) Mercer 0, (#11) South Dakota 47 - The Bears, who had won 9 in a row against FCS competition, completely lay an egg by throwing 4 picks (2 to Mikey Munn) and allowing the Coyotes to gain 549 yards on just 56 offensive plays.
Most Surprising Result: (#1) North Dakota St. 28, Illinois St. 29 - The Bison manage just 179 yards of offense, their lowest total since their loss to Northern Iowa in 2014 (their only loss that season).

Best Performance: Prairie View A&M 23, Jackson St. 21 - The Panthers win just their 2nd. SWAC title since 1965 mostly thanks to QB Cameron Peters, who threw for 294 yards and a TD on just 28 attempts and ran for exactly 100 yards and another TD—Peters accounted for all but 30 yards of PVAMU's offensive output.
Worst Performance: Jackson St. 21, Prairie View A&M 23 - The Tigers put up a season-low 244 yards on an oddly low 42 offensive plays.
Most Surprising Result: Jackson St. 21, Prairie View A&M 23 - Jackson State's 3-game winning streak in the SWAC Championship Game comes to an end.

Total shock for me seeing PVAMU beating JSU and I think ISU can go all the way to the national title game and win it all.
