Sorry I missed you. I think I did see you across the isle once though...glad you had a good time. I know the FD isn't the Taj-de-Football but it works and from playing some HS ball on that field the lighting is pretty good out there, just sucks in the corners(I'm guessing that's where you were) and in the top rows of the stands.

What the hell is it with Bison fans?

You start every season demanding that you be crowned king, crowing that you have the best fans, the best dome, and the best program.

Then, when things start heading south, you whine about anything you can come up with.

Met some real cool Bison fans in the lots yesterday before the game. But that was where I stopped being impressed.

The Fargodome staff had no idea what they were doing, the lighting is terrible, and your fans whine about calls more than Iowa.

You don't want UNI players to flip you off? Don't cross the line with heckling. I love heckling opponents and was suprised by the dumb stuff your fans were coming up with.

The play was chippy both ways. It was a physical game.

You guys are running out of things to complain about. It's time to realize that you're having a bad season, and if you can't handle it, fold it up for the year. Don't waste our time with your endless bitching.

I was pumped for my first trip to NDSU, and overall it was a letdown.

i just re-watched the game on fsn and saw a referee literally take NDSU out of the game numerous times, not to mention the PHANTOM holding call on ndsu's first TD called back and then NDSU's not going for 4th down on 1 yards.

those 2 things happen and we rightfully win. NDSU will physically handle any team in the nation, it's the intangible's screwing us this year.

i just re-watched the game on fsn and saw a referee literally take NDSU out of the game numerous times, not to mention the PHANTOM holding call on ndsu's first TD called back and then NDSU's not going for 4th down on 1 yards.

There was only a little bit of holding on that play (which, I guess in comparison to the holding going on during most of the Bison's other offensive plays, would make it "phantom"). However, the NDSU blocker basically tackled the UNI defender on one of the previous plays (a Mertens 11-yard scramble). So perhaps it was a bit of a makeup call (or just karma)

How does a slow team put up 500 yards on one of the top defenses in the FCS? The team isn't slow, they just can't execute worth a damn. Catching passes is definitely part of that problem, stupid penalties, poor tackling, horrendous special teams play, I could go on and on.

Wouldn't a slow team have been demolished by SIU and UNI? We are 1-5 because we can't execute, the team is in every game and that is what makes 1-5 so damn frustrating. But I guess that comes with having to play a bunch of young players, I doubt starting multiple true freshmen on defense has ever been a recipe for success in the Valley.
