Our first flyover ever...yay! I've never seen one in a stadium before so I'm really excited. I also think it's pretty cool that Capt. Kenneth R. Whitesell, an ODU grad (1993), will be flying one of the two F-14s! He'll be honored later at the game when he returns to the stadium...not in a jet fighter lol.

It would be way cooler is he returned to the stadium in a fighter jet.....landed in the parking lot with a Harrier maybe? Bad ass.

We probably are, but the end results will probably be the same. To expensive, to much to do in the market to support football (GMCC) or not a good sports town/everybody like UVA (VCCC). Flyovers are cool. I was at the Ravens-Broncos game last weekend and 3 A-10 warthogs flew over. So cool.
At the Towson-Navy game 2 F-14s did a flyover.
A couple eyars ago a Stealth bomber did a flyover at Preakness. It flew over my house on its way to Pimlico. That thing is spooky. You don't hear it until its past over.

Tennessee Tech alum Barry Wilmore will be pilot of next upcoming shuttle flight, STS-129. Barry played for Tech back in the mid 80s. FCS alumni doing good!!!!
