Take care of the ball!
Re: SCSU vs App St game thread
That makes 10 turnovers so far. 5 on each side, 3 picks and 2 fumbles for each.

Neither of these squads look like playoff caliber teams.
Go Black Bears!

Long throws is backwards on 3rd and long. The ugly continues.
At this point, App should just run out the clock w/ 5 minutes left. SCSU has no TO's.

That was the most god-assed ugly game in the history of modern American football.
But App wins, so we get to try again next week. It's a win-win next week for us.

In list form, because bullets make me happy:
- That was an ugly, ugly football game. No getting around it
- A dinged-up Armanti on staff-imposed running restriction ain't Armanti at all. He becomes tentative and tries to force things throwing the football
- ASU actually has a defense. Incredible, I know
- The crowd was depressingly thin yet surprisingly loud
- The Bulldogs have a nice band, but in the end it's still just a band
- Monsignor Long needs to seriously start considering salads
- We really are lucky as fuck. No apologies, EVER
- We aren't dead yet, but there's no one left in the field we can beat in another grinder like this one
- Déjà vu, all over again? We'll find out on Saturday

The crowd was loud and the attendance was higher than in recent Thanksgiving weekend playoff games. I agree that we have to play a lot better next weekend to beat Richmond but I don't expect Armanti to have another game like this throwing the football. I'm just glad that AE and the rest of this Senior class was able to get one more W at the Rock. On to Richmond.
