#1 Offense in the Nation Getting Handled

I'd hold off on the Missoula champaign parties for now. After seeing SIU get completely handled by W&M.. I have to wonder about the 'tough' playoff competion that the Griz have seen so far. South Dakota St was crushed on their home field by an SIU team that wasn't even competitive vs W&M and McNeese St.. the supposed equal of SFA was blasted at home by UNH. So as of yet.. I'm not convinced that Montana has seen anything like they may get next week or in Chattoonga....

I totally agree with you when looking at stats, schedules, etc. etc. But then again....my thinking is like Montana's. Refuse to lose.....and screw the stats. Get the Champagne ready!

I'll go out on a limb and say that next weeks opponent will be the best team the UM has faced all year. I'll go out on another limb and say that UM can hang with anybody. Should be a good finish to the playoffs this year.

The problem, listening to some CAA posters, is that every time you type - you are putting Montana down by saying, just wait until you have to play the CAA. Heard that before the JMU game last year. Whether it is Richmond or App both teams will have their hands full. Could Montana lose next week? Yep, it has happened before from UMass who then was destroyed by App....just because you lose one game it does not mean you don't belong or don't have a good team....

Actually, they should have done a little more. What were the teams' time of possession? I would guess that without that many turnovers, the SFA time of possession would have improved, blunting your total offence and scoring numbers. Don't get me wrong; it had to be a strong performance by any interpretation. Must have been a celebration in the stands start to finish.

Putter, you define an 11 point loss as "getting destroyed". How about 10 points. Would that be getting destroyed? 9 points? 8? What is the cutoff for getting destroyed vs not getting destroyed?
