Was UConn that impressive before their move. They're Villanova. If they want Big East footballl, they'll get it.

I'm not so sure. 1) Villanova is private. They don't have any of the funding structure UConn had from being a state school in place when they moved up. This means they'll either have to raise that money themselves or have to rely on assistance from the BE, which may not be as forthcoming as it was for UConn. 2) The attendance issue still comes into play. Hell, the league was embarrassed by Louisville's horrible showing in the stands, however that should correct itself this year. Unless attendance improves a lot, the BE won't risk it.

I highly doubt Charlotte ends up in SoCon. This was already discussed earlier in the year and Charlotte was turned away. If anything, the 49ers will be able to recruit well.

Agree....SoCon should not be interested as Charlotte has announced their intentions to stay FCS as very temporary...guess they are anxious to join the exciting battle royale that is the SunBelt...
