Coastal Carolina University's football program has hired three new assistant coaches, Head Coach David Bennett announced today. Maurice Drayton (far right) is the new assistant head coach, special teams coordinator and wide receivers coach, Kevin Mapp (far left) will coach the defensive line and Patrick Covington (second from right) will take over as the offensive line coach.
We need something. Back in my day, my friends on the team didn't care too much for Bennett and said the majority of the players felt the same way. Maybe things have changed, I dunno. Maybe something needs to change at that position.
Maurice Drayton is a huge pick up for Coastal. He is a great recruiter! While he was at The Citadel, he was the guy that recruited Andre Roberts. Wish we still had him, they don't get any better.
